Diego Rojas is a two-term Commissioner of Washington DC, he was elected at the young age of 18. Alongside his academic pursuits as a 20 year old finance student at the Catholic University of America, Diego's business career has developed at UBS Private Wealth Management, working under the guidance of one of the firm's preeminent Private Wealth Advisors. Diego is also the author of two published books, one of which achieved recognition as an Amazon Top Seller. His entrepreneurial spirit shines through his role as the Co-founder and President of The Collegiate Networker, a platform that empowers students through collaboration and networking opportunities. Diego's passion for public service and pursuit of excellence is deeply rooted in his profound love for the United States of America. Being an American is the greatest honor of his life, and he believes in embodying the quintessential American values of hard work, innovation, leadership, and, above all, active civic engagement.

Diego is the Co-Founder and President of The Collegiate Networker, which was born from their dream to teach fellow students their networking strategy in a simple yet effective way. Through years of mentoring, Diego and James-Evan have guided numerous students who have gone on to achieve remarkable success as collegiate networkers. The strategies taught by The Collegiate Networker are built upon the invaluable experiences Diego and James-Evan have had while networking, as well as the mentorship and advice they have received from some of the best networkers in the world. The Collegiate Networker is forged through experience and wisdom, teaching college students how to master the art of networking.

DIEGO'S STORY

Diego Rojas is the youngest elected Commissioner of Washington DC. He serves as the Commissioner of District 5A-4 and was elected in December 2021 at the age of 18, becoming the youngest elected official in Washington DC. Diego actively participates in legislative decisions that shape the future of his district, including voting on crucial legislation such as budgeting, building permits, and city construction. He is deeply committed to serving his community and making a meaningful difference in their lives. Currently serving his second term, Diego won his second election unanimously and was sworn in by Mayor Muriel Bowser.

In addition to his role as a public servant, Diego works at UBS in Private Wealth Management under the guidance of Vic Seested, one of the firm's preeminent Private Wealth Advisors. This experience at UBS has allowed him to develop his entrepreneurial spirit and financial expertise. Diego is also the Co-Founder and President of The Collegiate Networker, an initiative that empowers college students with networking skills through a comprehensive self-paced course.

Academically, Diego is a 21-year-old Junior at the Catholic University of America, where he is pursuing a degree in finance and maintains a 3.94 GPA. He is also a member of the Catholic University Men's Golf Team, reflecting his passion for golf. Diego actively engages with the academic community as the Chairman of the Catholic University Finance Institute and is a member of the Business Advisory Council, emphasizing his commitment to personal growth, leadership development, and fostering connections within the university community.

Diego believes in living a purposeful life and making a positive impact on the world. Inspired by the indomitable spirit of American achievement, he strives to leave a lasting legacy. Being an American is his proudest accomplishment, and he feels obligated to honor the sacrifices made by those who came before him. Diego believes that it is the duty of all Americans to lead disciplined lives, work hard, care for others, and make sacrifices for the greater good.
